What will your child love about Little Saints?
It is an extension of the Pulford Family and is run with the same Christian ethos and values as found throughout Pulford. Mr Dunstan is our Before and After School Club Lead practitioner.
At our Breakfast club (7.30-8.45am) we offer a range of fun and exciting activities to give your child the perfect start to the day. Whether they would like to relax and do some colouring, seek more of a thrill on our archery, pool and air hockey tables or go outside for a free play on our amazing woodchip equipment. Little Saints has got it all!
If they haven’t had a chance to eat breakfast at home, we can offer toast, cereals and milk for breakfast. Just order with staff as you arrive. It just has a small charge of £1 per breakfast which can be added on to your monthly Little Saints bill.At our After School Club (3.30-5.30pm) we strive to find an activity that your child will love. We would ask that you provide a light snack and a drink for them to enjoy at the beginning of the after school session. In the first hour, children can take part in the ‘Sports club’ which is run by Mr Dunstan (PE Specialist & Club Lead) and Mr Major. These clubs include football, gymnastics, multisports, tennis, outdoor adventure and more! The sports choices change every half term to ensure we offer the widest range of sports possible, and to give your child the opportunity to try lots of different sports. If your child doesn’t want to take part in the sports hour, they can choose to do outdoor or indoor free play.
In the second hour, we offer a daily ‘Arts & Crafts’ session led by Mrs Heather / Mr Hinchliff. The Arts & Crafts sessions are designed to capture the children’s imaginations and creativity. We focus on making a different design each day and these, along with the sports sessions, are linked to the Theme of the Week which changes on a weekly basis. If children do not wish to do the Arts & Crafts, again, they can choose to do indoor or outdoor free play. The weekly themes are advertised via parent emails and also on our front noticeboard. Please take a look!
Children can earn award stickers for various reasons including:- being a sports star at sports club, being a creative star at Arts and Crafts, showing kindness to peers and other amazing qualities that we promote within Pulford. These stickers are added on to a sticker chart and once a child has 10 stickers, they win a prize from our prize box.
We believe we have a wide range of activites so there is always something to suit each child’s needs and we aim to send the children home / into school with a happy experience and a smile on their face!
The cost of the club is £4 for every hour or part of the hour. This can be paid by monthly bill for regular sessions at the club, payment should be made within one week of receiving your bill by card, cash or cheque in the office, via paypal using the school website ‘shop’ or childcare vouchers.
Late pick up of a child will incur a charge of £4 per part of an hour and consistent lateness may mean refusal to accept a child for future sessions.
We are open on some training days. Please see our online calendar for details.
